WORDS THAT MEN LIVE BY
The tragedy's of late related to gun violence are to say the least heartbreaking. My heart goes out to the affected families and victims.
That being said, I'm deeply saddened to see how the liberal left is using everything they can think of to disarm the public.
I keep hearing the phrase ' hunting rifle ' used to describe the weapons they think we should have access to. Also, ' automatic weapons', when they are really talking about semi-auto weapons, be they rifle or pistol.
Mis information to anyone not familiar with guns is taken literally, by the uninformed, and spread via the liberal media.
The framers of our constitution, never mentioned in the 2nd, anything about hunting. The 2nd is there because they knew how oppressive governments get out of control, and murder innocent people.
It is there so you and I can protect our families and property from tyrants, and people who would do us harm.
The Patriot Act is just one example of American citizens being stripped of their rights and privacy for 'safety'.
Now, the right to keep and bear arms is on the table.
Before anyone blindly accepts whatever new firearms regulations are doled out, one should ponder this:
Evil does exist in this world, and always will, your not going to legislate it away.
The greatest human tragedies and largest loss of life can be attributed to government's.
Ask any native American what happened at Wounded Knee, or any Jew what Hitler's first step was before the holocaust......gun confiscation from the citizens.
I do not have the answers to prevent another school shooting, but I do know that disarming the public, is not going to prevent another one.
Taxing ammunition, or guns, or registration will not affect the people that will do you harm with a weapon.
Without the 2nd Amendment, we have no right to protect and defend our families and ourselves.
