Howdy folks, just got in from far west Texas, this is a red ant mound outside of Terlingua, the red item's you see are blooms from ocotillio plant blooms that he ants are taking to their mound.
The road into Terlingua.
Between Marathon and Alpine, pretty lonesome, but beautiful, we saw 4 cars in 65 miles or so.
We went to see the Marfa lights, but all we saw were headlights of cars that were obviously on highway 90, but the folks there, thought they were seeing them, although I did not want to argue with them, I have seen them before, and what they were seeing, was not the lights.
More when I can catch up, thanks for checking in.
