Forgot to mention thank you to Don for following the blog.
It was my neighbor at the door wanting to borrow a 2 wheel dolly to move furniture with.

Take care, thanks for checking in.
By the way, this one of the finest large bore rounds you can find, I love to shoot it, ( about 4 times at a setting ).

  1. Thanks for the welcome.

Grew up within a couple of hour's drive from Sanderson. They were (probably still are) in our district for sports and UIL events.

Like the game cam, I need to do something similar on our property and maybe build a water guzzler to attract the wildlife.

    2. Thanks for the offer on camera info. I may ask when the time comes. I spent the first 24 years of my life here.

Much different than the metromess of DFW. Sure do miss the desert.

    4. Yes, I did too, I have not been there in at least 30 years, but used to pass through when we were out that way going to Guadulupe Mtns Park, thanks for the link.

  2. As you can probably figure out I know nothing about guns or ammunition...so what is a bore round?

    1. MsB:
A large bore round is in reference to the diameter of the projectile, in this case around a half inch.
A small bore would be someting like a .22, or a .243 deer rifle.
This one kicks so bad, I can't shoot it many times without starting to 'flinch' when I pull the trigger, which makes me miss my mark.
When I was a young man, that didn't bother me much, but now days, I can't stand to shoot it many times at one setting, that goes back to what I said about my friends a couple of post's back, as good once as I ever was!
