The heat is on here in central Texas once again. I was hoping for some relief, in the form of a 2 inch rain, but not!. Weather man says hot for the next few days.
Planted some Esperanza flowers in the front yard about ten days ago, and last night when I got home, I noticed the deer had eaten every leaf off of all of them, I'll have to put wire over them I guess. I also noticed the deer have been rubbing the velvet off their horns on my Agave plants as well. I hope they don't kill them too!.
Try to stay cool.
Thanks for checking in.

Anyone still watching?
I am sorry to hear that the deer are eating your Esperanza's especially as expensive as they are.
ReplyDeleteFor some reason I thought the deer did not like them but I do not recall where I read that...guess that is false.
Stay cool. I gave up and turned on the A/C :(
Is that Nine Point Mesa in that picture?
ReplyDeleteJim, I don't know the name of that range, the river is just this side of it, it's due south of my camp @ Sanderson. Camp is about 8 miles due south of town, the mountain is about 5 miles due south of camp in Mexico.
