Just now back from Patti's folks re union near Canton Texas, a good time was had by all I think. We got there early, and started the brisket, and Patti and her Mom and sister made the potato salad and brown beans, man that was good!
Saturday was sale day for the cows, so we took some in before noon, that's the trailer we used.
Patti's mom has 216 acres of the most beautiful coastal Bermuda pasture I've ever seen, and about 110 head of cattle on it. That's the lake southeast of the house.
We had a good visit with her mom, and we read letters that Patti's dad had sent to her mom during WWII, simply amazing, her Dad Joe was a cook on a destroyer in the Philippines.
Frannie and Pinkie had a good time chasing the local Guinea flock off the yard area. They are a great watch "dog".
31 people were there we had a great time, and now I'm cleaning up and putting up...........not my favorite job, but it's something you have to do.
