WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKES

It's been 48 hours since the lens implant and I am pretty much pain free, no pain medication needed!
I am really impressed so far, hope it continues to improve with time.
Patti's mom, sister and niece came to visit yesterday, and to give me a little support, and they left early to go shopping, so I get to work in the gun shop this morning, although I can't lift over 5 pounds for a few more days, I can piddle.
Have been commiserating over a Benelli M2 shotgun,

so, I have a little time for research today. The dogs are keeping me company, and Frannie is 'on guard' watching every thing that goes by in the street, and giving me a little 'woof' any time anything unusual happens. ( Trash truck, mailman, man with a flat, etc.)
Got the yard composted, and waiting on rain, if and when that comes, man it's been dry for 5 years here, and shows.
Well, I'm cleaning out safe 2 and rearranging everything, so I need to get busy.
Thanks for checking in.

  1. Excellent. Have fun in the shop. I love to piddle in my garage too...after a nap.
