M1-C THOMPSON .45 ACP

I took one of these with me to the ranch for deer season, just because it needed shooting.
You might remember seeing one of these in an old WWII war movie, with John Wayne, or some other Hollywood figure holding it. I know I saw some in 'Saving Private Ryan' if your looking for some footage of it.
I have to say, it's one of my most favored rifle's. It's short, and BAD from the front to the back.
It's built for 'close combat'. If I was trying to protect an area around my house of 75 yards or less, this would be one of my first choices. It's fast to load, and swing into combat mode, 30 round clip, VERY accurate to 75 yards, and to answer your question, it's just like the same round you shoot in your Colt .45.
However, I don't 'sight it in' on the target much unless it's a long ways off, point and shoot works pretty well up to about 30 yards if it's a man size target. It's a lot of fun to shoot, my dad carried one in WWII and he said he loved it, because it was a short barrel and easy to carry.
Patti, my wife said I don't need but one of these, but somehow, 3 of them have found their way to my safe in the last couple of years. ( you can't have too much ammo, or too many guns.) (( or too many clips ))

I've been in OK City all week, just got home, will touch base over the weekend some time, thanks for checking in.
