RIVER WALK

Well, just got back today from a few days in San Antonio. We stayed at the Hilton, our room faced the river walk, and I must say, the hotel gave us great service. As a matter of fact, everyone we dealt with was friendly, and accommodating, we had a great time. I had not been to Brackenridge Park in about 50 years, so we made a point of spending some time there, and the Witte Museum.
The park has not changed much, and that's a good thing I think. Went in the Japanese Tea Gardens as well, and explored places we had never been. We even took a ride on the train around the park just to see all the sights.
We both needed a break, so I took this week off to do whatever Patti wanted to do. Her Mom and Sister came to house sit for us while we were away.
Bought gasoline there for $3.22 this morning.
More later, and thanks for stopping by.

  1. In my humble opinion San Antonio is the most romantic city in Texas. I think all the hotels on the River Walk are top notch.

Glad you two got to spend sometime in this beautiful metropolis.

BTW how is Patti's mom doing after her mini stroke?

    Wow $3.22 gas is FANTASTIC!
