Well, just got back today from a few days in San Antonio. We stayed at the Hilton, our room faced the river walk, and I must say, the hotel gave us great service. As a matter of fact, everyone we dealt with was friendly, and accommodating, we had a great time. I had not been to Brackenridge Park in about 50 years, so we made a point of spending some time there, and the Witte Museum.
The park has not changed much, and that's a good thing I think. Went in the Japanese Tea Gardens as well, and explored places we had never been. We even took a ride on the train around the park just to see all the sights.
We both needed a break, so I took this week off to do whatever Patti wanted to do. Her Mom and Sister came to house sit for us while we were away.
Bought gasoline there for $3.22 this morning.
More later, and thanks for stopping by.

In my humble opinion San Antonio is the most romantic city in Texas. I think all the hotels on the River Walk are top notch.
ReplyDeleteGlad you two got to spend sometime in this beautiful metropolis.
