FIRE UPDATE

New chimney cap.
Off with the old.

Thank goodness it's a pipe inside a pipe. The interior pipe was perforated right at the top where it looked like a blow torch was coming out of the stack.
We are now in good shape as far as repairs go, just need to paint inside then we'll be good to go.

    I have been using stainless steel and inserted it inside my home made insulated steel smoke stack rather than a chimney. It is not attached to the house. Nothing like a good clean pipe.
