The live oak trees are dropping acorns early this year, and the whitetails here in central Texas are already showing signs of the 'rut' coming early.

Just a quick post to say hello, have been covered up at work. Not sure what kind of hawk this is.
Bring it on, winter, not the rut....
ReplyDeleteDo you think the acorns are dropping because of the drought or because of fall?
ReplyDeleteMsB, not sure what's making them drop already, I know they are 2 or 3 weeks early, maybe the big rain we got?
DeleteStephen, I'm not into winter, I love October, I can do without the sleet and cold. I know the deer think it's going to be an early fall and winter, hope their wrong.
