I went to Brownwood today to see how my daughters home repair was coming along after the fire in December, and they should be back in it by the end of next week.
I went to the range as I was on the way home, to shoot the new 1911 .38 Super, and as I was going down the 2 lane county road, I was following 5 cars........they all turned into the range, and abruptly stopped when they turned, as there was NO parking.
I stopped on the hiway and walked up just to see what it looked like, wish I had taken pictures, there was a line of 30 to 40 people waiting to get in, and the range was packed, I heard it was at least an hour to get a shooting bench, I'll wait till it calms down some I think!
Thanks for checking in.

I have hundreds if not thousands of photo's , but I don't want to bore you, touch base later today I hope.
Same crowded conditions at my range in the Dallas area. I'm retired so I go early Monday mornings. At that time it's not as packed but, still much busier than it was a couple months ago.

ReplyDeleteGood to see the public is paying attention, for us old folks, practice made perfect, ( or as good as we'll get ), years ago.
Hope the interest is still there for them, when they write their elected reps.
Thanks for checking in.

btw, my buddy just got back from the park yesterday, and it's as dry as can be, still.............
Glad to hear the repairs to your daughter's house are going well but most importantly that she will soon be able to move back in.
