Thought I would tell you about this every day driver I got a couple of months ago. It's a 14 model F-150, and being in the business I'm in, and being as OLD as I am, I'm pretty hard to impress these days, however, this truck has.
It has an Eco Boost 3.5 V-6 in it, I drive it about 44 miles one way to work every day, and now that it has 3600 miles on it, the average since I got it is 18.2 mpg. That's a lot of stop and go, and I have not had it on a highway trip yet, but I would say it will do a lot better there at constant speeds.
It really has the power when you need it, you just have to kind of 'drive' into it' since it takes a little while for the turbo to kick in.
I give it a thumbs up if your looking for a new truck.
Hope ya'll had a great Thanksgiving, I worked all the way through it.
Take care of each other.

That is a beautiful truck! The bat truck is paid for and nearing 100,000 miles. I keep telling myself it makes sense to keep it for another 50,000 miles than I see this! :-) Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteThanks B, I really like it, was skeptical at first, but I think it's a good match for my commute every day.
ReplyDeleteI like it when they are paid off, but it seems like that's about when you have to start spending big bucks on them. Hope you get another 50 k out of the bat truck!
