I find it ironic, that the people in the Boston area, were told by authorities to 'shelter in place', in other words, hide from one man, although a terrorist, just one man. They were alright with men with machine guns, with 30 round clips, and pistols with 16 round clips running all over the place, especially, since they don't have any to protect themselves with. Those people in Massachusetts have effectively been disarmed by the state.
I think law enforcement did a great job of smoking out the last of the two they were looking for, but I just can't see the reason to keep a million people home all day.
I also think it's odd, that since the bombing took place, no one has called for pressure cooker controls, background checks for horse shoe nails, or ball bearings. Heck, they haven't even called for lawsuits for the stores that sold the pressure cookers, or the hardware stores where the nails came from, yet.
They have used their heads and placed the blame on the 2 bad guy's, exactly where it belongs, for a change.
Why can't this same logic be applied when a gun is used in a crime? Why do you want to punish the gun maker, or ammo supplier for it? They did not perpetrate the crime. But I guess the liberals have to blame someone, even if it's the wrong people.
Just for the record, if I get the 'shelter in place' warning from the law here in Texas, I won't burrow down in a hole, and hope someone else takes care of the bad guy, I'm not going to hide from anyone.
Ya'll have a good weekend, and thanks for stopping in.
